So right after I wrote yesterday's post on My Gut Instinct, my GUT, started acting up. Sorry - maybe TMI. I hate being sick. Colds and flus don't bother me as much, but stomach issues are not my friend. We went to Disney last Friday and the monorail was down. So, we had to ride the ferry over to Magic Kingdom. Not a big deal, but if I don't have a front row spot to see out, I get a little motion sick. I'm not bad, just makes me feel off and not myself. I haven't really felt great since then. But today, I felt way more nauseous. So much so, that I had to cancel a lunch appointment and an evening outing.
All that to say, my wonderful hubby stopped to get me Sprite on his way home from work. When I have a cold or something, I love mixing half orange juice and half sprite, with ice. It's my comfort drink. Either that or hot water with lemon and honey - the best comfort for a sore throat and actually has health benefits.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Until then, I'm laying low. I have a TON to do this week and this was not in my plans.
